Best Buy is now "customer centric"?

Best Buy is finally getting rid of rebates. I've never minded them because I'll do the paperwork and wait for the rebate, but my wife always hated them for it. She'd shop elsewhere and pay more to avoid the rebate hassle. I'm too cheap for that.

What's interesting is that their press release says this is "consistent with the company's transformation to a customer-centric business model". What? They used to have some other business model that wasn't customer centric? Makes no sense to me.

I hope Clickshift never has to issue a press release that says we're "transforming" to be customer-centric. I'd certainly like us to be that way the whole time.
